122: Older, Not Wiser

TED 122 Birthday

It’s Rick’s birthday week and he has decided this year he would like to spend it in a mask standing 6 feet away from people. Lucky him! We prepare for our first Live Zoom Hangout and Rick announces he doesn’t like people who constantly live in the past. Which doesn’t seem to sit well with Cheri. Our Live Beer Review is Nights Like These Irish Dry Stout by Birds Fly South Ale Project.

121: Birthday Hangout!

This week we plan our very first LIVE Zoom hangout! It will happen on the day before Rick’s birthday, Sunday, April 26 at 8PM EST. Come hang out with us! Bring a beverage and play a round of “Would You Rather”. It’ll be a fun time! (Watch our Facebook page for details). This week, Rick witnesses a hit and run and we check and see how the Missed Connection crowd is hooking up during quarantine. This week’s Live Beer Review is Levitate Forethought Beer.

#84: Birthday!

It’s the week of Cheri’s Birthday and Rick dedicates the entire show to her. Sorta. So, if you could have any present in the world, what would you want? Where would you want to spend your birthday if you could spend it anywhere? Who would you invite? We celebrate that this episode ties This Epic Disaster for our longest running podcast! Our Live Beer Review (Birthday Version) checks out Monday Night Brewing’s Slushee Fund Cherry Lime Gose.

#52 Christmas Disasters

Hey, it’s episode 52, which means we’ve been doing this podcast for ONE YEAR now! Thanks to everyone who has stuck with us this long. We hope you’ll continue to listen and tell your friends. Also, send us comments, suggestions and criticisms about what you like and what you don’t like so we can continue to improve the show. This week we discuss disastrous Christmas gifts, overcoming physical challenges, Hallmark Christmas movies and we even figure out a way to bring it all down with a discussion on dying. It’s who we are, folks. Our Live Beer Review is Suck-Up… er, Sykophantes by Orpheus Brewing.

This Epic Disaster 20 – A New Way To Jump

Rick decides to celebrate his birthday by getting healthy and buys a ropeless jump rope. Yep. Good luck with that. Cheri and Rick give their opinions on some of this week’s events such as the catching of the Golden State Killer, the conviction of Bill Cosby and the voice of The Simpsons‘ Apu. You know that’s gotta be good. New entries are added to our Summer Playlist 2018 (go to ThisEpicDisaster.com and vote!). Our Live Beer Review is Orpheus Brewing’s Atalanta. Stay well and healthy, friends!
