It’s Christmas week and Cheri and Rick celebrate with the annual giving of the gifts! The Live Beer Review this week is not a beer at all but rather the Apple Pie homemade booze given to us last week by Earth Station One Podcast‘s Mike Faber. Is it as potent as we were warned?? Listen and find out! Happy Holidays everyone! Thanks for spending your time with us!
Rick and Cheri both have dreams that involve the elimination of Cheri. Cheri brings in a special gift for Rick. Rick discusses his dog history. Cheri invites Rick to visit a Haunted House but Rick is not very enthusiastic about it. Ghost Tours with booze is agreed to be a good thing. Rick wants to get together a local group for viewing Rocky Horror Picture Show. This week’s Live Beer Review is Monday Night Brewing’s Mischief Managed Raspberry Berliner Weisse.
It’s our annual Holiday Gift Giving Episode where we give stuff to each other. These are things we give to each other that don’t require a visit from the doctor to get a shot of penicillin or some salve. Celebrate with us and give yourself something nice that you are pretty sure we’d give to you ourselves if we could. We ponder whether we should do a live, midnight reading of “‘Twas The Night Before Christmas.” Should we?? Our Live Beer Review is Bourbon Barrel Aged Drafty Kilt by Monday Night Brewing. Merry Holidays everyone!
Hey, it’s episode 52, which means we’ve been doing this podcast for ONE YEAR now! Thanks to everyone who has stuck with us this long. We hope you’ll continue to listen and tell your friends. Also, send us comments, suggestions and criticisms about what you like and what you don’t like so we can continue to improve the show. This week we discuss disastrous Christmas gifts, overcoming physical challenges, Hallmark Christmas movies and we even figure out a way to bring it all down with a discussion on dying. It’s who we are, folks. Our Live Beer Review is Suck-Up… er, Sykophantes by Orpheus Brewing.
Cheri has come to the conclusion that her new cat might be stupid. Rick has come to the conclusion that he may be unlucky. These things are not hard to figure out. A new feature called “Thrift Store Gift Party” is started on the show and Cheri (arguably) benefits. Cheri gets a promotion at work, completely destroying the theme of the podcast about our lives being a disaster. We can always hope that she screws it up. Rick tells stories of job interviews gone horribly wrong.
